We're so excited!

The Fedex delivery guy is probably still wondering what hit him. Earlier this week when the long awaited package arrived through our cottage doors I knocked over a few barn stars trying to get to our June issue of Romantic Home magazine. Page 68-73 contains the first real article and beautiful pictures of our shop. Ann and I are so pleased and excited! Hope you can get your copy and have a look-

A great turnout!

Day one of the Leesburg Flower and Garden Show did not disappoint! The displays are amazing, the aroma of the food offerings enticing, and the crowds of fairgoers impressive! If you were unable to make it today there's one more day left. It's a great way for the whole family to take in a beautiful day. Thanks to all who stopped in to visit us. It was good to see you!

We've posted a few of the new things we've brought in for the weekend and there's lots more to see. If you're in town drop by! ( And wish Linda a Happy Birthday!!!)

A Blooming SALE!

Finally a sunny day in Leesburg! What a little sunshine does for the soul is an amazing thing. Ann and I are getting the cottage ready for a busy weekend. The Leesburg Flower & Garden Festival is this Saturday and Sunday. This is my favorite downtown event by far. Landscaping businesses work through the night to reveal spectacular displays for the weekend. The smell of funnel cake and grilled Italian sausages fill the air. The latest and greatest for your outdoor spaces will be available. The cottage doors will be flung wide open and oh, did I mention SALE!

This weekend only to celebrate the Festival, the cottage will be doing a little spring cleaning!

Personal Shopper

Take a gander at what we've just unloaded from the truck. Four of the sweetest petite shopping carts. How cute would this be in a laundry room for clothes and laundry supplies or in a kitchen with an old bread board across the top or as an out-of-the-box side stand with a lamp on top and your fav books and magazines stacked on the bottom....oh the possibilities!

The almost eight foot two piece cupboard is also a favorite. It's distressed white wash finish and old blue trim have that beach house feel. The vintage concrete mermaid, old boat oars and sailboat what-not shelves were definitely OMG finds!
