I've had a very enjoyable weekend and am happy we're starting the week with some relief from the oppressive humidity. The air conditioners are humming away in the cottage. Come on in and say hello if you're in town!

As promised....

Well, we're back and we have loaded the shop with :

-several sets of white corbels

-old signs

-new signs

-great set of old shutters

-vintage suitcases

-cubbies, big and small

-chimney cupboards

-vintage framed florals

-chalkboards

-vintage lampshades

-vintage bark cloth

and last but not least, wonderful old painted chairs!

We're back and we have two great truckloads of wonderment to layer the shop with just for you! Here's a sneak peek. . .

Linda's behind the cavalcade of chairs and that's me, hiding behind the awesome oval window and mannequin. We found a wonderful floor to ceiling cubby that would make a fabulous wine rack, cupboards, signs, and lots of small vintage treasures. We were thrilled to pieces to find some great Halloween and vintage Christmas finds that we'll be squirreling away for a later unveiling!

We have our work cut out for us, unloading, scrubbing, pricing, and fluffing. Stay tuned!

We've freshened up the cottage with some garden items just in time to welcome the end of spring and the beginning of summer.

And we've got a truckload to bring in to the shop for you. Stay tuned for more pics of good old stuff.

Next week Linda and I are going on the road to find lots and lots and lots more good old stuff to layer the cottage with. Who knows what we'll find?
