Amy's Birthday!!!!!

Today isn't just March 21st, oh no sir-ree. It's not just good ole Wednesday, over-the-hump-day, smack-dab in the middle of the week day, oh no sir-ree. Today is our very sweet friend Amy Powers' birthday. Nobody and I mean nobody loves her birthday more than Miss Amy.
So Amy celebrate away- Ann and I hope your day is filled with pink balloons, cupcakes piled high with icing and sprinkles and presents galore.

fancy lampshade

Look at this fabulous lampshade that Linda made! It's made of luscious wired ribbon in hot pink and olive green hues, bowed all around the bottom of the shade. It took about 30 yards of ribbon! And not even a dab of glue, believe it or not!

We had two customers nearly fighting for it. Not really. They were very nice about it. It was agreed between them that the first who saw it should get first dibs. She indeed bought it...and even ordered a larger one to be made for a floorlamp.

Ann and I along with the help of our dear friend Amy Powers (couldn't do it without her) are busy planning the 2nd annual Paris Flea Market. This year the cottage will transform into a Paris Wonderland on April 27th and 28th! Our shop and backyard will be packed with one-of-a-kind vendors, craftsmen and artists.
